Which One Should You Choose?
Here are some guiding questions:
How many people usually sleep in the camper? If it’s mostly just two of you, the 18BK could be perfect. If you sometimes have another person or prefer more sleeping flexibility, the 18BB might serve better.
How important is cooking/kitchen space? If you do a lot of cooking, want oven + 3-burner stove, and other amenities, the 18BK wins. If your meals are simpler, or you dine or cook out more, the 18BB will serve you well.
Tow vehicle & weight constraints: Since both are built with the new lightweight, composite monocoque frame, they’re lighter than many competitors—but the overall usable payload may differ slightly depending on kitchen fixtures and gear. If your tow vehicle has more limited payload, checking exact weights for each model (with options) is smart.
Budget vs value: With more amenities, the 18BK will cost slightly more (or if you add upgrade options).
Final Thoughts
Your personal or family needs, will help make your selection easier:
Pick the Cortes 18BB if you want a king bed, a more compact kitchen, but still all the high-end comforts.
Go for the Cortes 18BK if cooking is a priority, you want more kitchen space/appliance capacity, and you’re happy with standard sleeping capabilities. standard sleeping capabilities.
